Educational Qualification for NPCIL Recruitment 2022

1. Scientific Assistant/C – (Safety Supervisor) – Diploma in Engineering * or B.Sc. (Minimum 50% marks in Diploma in Engineering/B.Sc.) And One year Diploma/Certificate in Industrial Safety And Candidate should have 4 years of relevant experience after obtaining requisite qualification. The Diploma in Engineering should be of three years duration after SSC/HSC.  Two years Diploma in Engineering through lateral entry to 2nd year after HSC approved by AICTE. Candidates with Diploma through Lateral entry to 2nd year Diploma after 10th (SSC)+ITI shall not be eligible.

2. Scientific Assistant/B – Diploma Holders in Civil Engineering – Diploma with not less than 60% marks in Civil Engineering recognized by the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development. The Diploma in Engineering should be of three years duration after SSC/HSC.Or Two years Diploma through lateral entry to 2nd year after HSC approved by AICTE with not less than 60% marks in Civil Engineering. Candidates with Diploma through Lateral entry to 2nd year Diploma after 10th (SSC)+ITI shall not be eligible. Should have had English as one of the subjects either at SSC or HSC level examination

3. Stipendiary Trainees/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) (Category-I) – Diploma Holders in Engineering – Diploma with not less than 60% marks in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical or Electronics Engineering recognized by the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development. The Diploma in Engineering should be of three years duration after SSC/HSC. OR Two years Diploma through lateral entry to 2nd year after HSC approved by AICTE with not less than 60% marks in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical or Electronics Engineering. 4. Stipendiary Trainees/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) (Category-I) – Science Graduates – B.Sc. with a minimum of 60% marks. B.Sc. shall be with Physics as principal and Chemistry/Mathematics/Statistics/Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary OR with Chemistry as principal and Physics/Mathematics/Statistics/Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary OR with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects with equal weightage. Mathematics at H.S.C. (10+2) level is essential. Candidates having Mathematics as the principal subject at B.Sc. are not eligible. Shall have English as one of the subjects either at SSC or HSC level examinations.

5. Stipendiary Trainees/Technician (ST/TN) (Category-II) – Plant Operator – Maintainer – Maintainer – HSC (10+2) or ISC in Science stream (with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics Subjects) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Shall have English as one of the subjects at least at SSC level examination.

6. Stipendiary Trainees/Technician (ST/TN) (Category-II) – SSC with minimum 50% marks in Science Subject(s) and Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI certificate course in Fitter/Electrician/Electronics/Instrumentation/Welder/ Machinist/AC Mechanic/Turner trades. For trades for which the duration of the ITI course is less than 2 years, the candidates should have at least one year relevant working experience after completion of the course. Shall have English as one of the subjects at least at SSC level examination.

7. Nurse-A – XII Standard and Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery (3 years course) + Valid Registration as Nurse from Central/State Nursing Council in India. Or B.Sc. (Nursing) Or Nursing ‘A’ Certificate with 3 years’ experience in Hospital OR Nursing Assistant Class III & above from Armed Forces Candidates possessing degree in Nursing may be considered for awarding of two additional increments

8. Pharmacist/B – HSC (10+2) + 2 years diploma in Pharmacy + 3 months training in Pharmacy + registration as a Pharmacist with Central or State Pharmacy Council. The date of registration as Pharmacist with Central or State Pharmacy Council should be on or before the closing date of online submission of application.

9. Assistant Grade-1 (HR) – Any Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institution. Essential requirements for Skill Test i) Typewriting Test A speed of 30 words per Minute in English typing on PC ii) Computer Proficiency Test Candidates should have passed a Certificate Course of duration of not less than 6 months on MS-Windows Operating System and Desktop Applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), e-mail Management and Internet Surfing. However, Certificate Course will not apply to the candidates who have studied computer science/computer applications as one of the subjects in their school or college curriculum

10. Assistant Grade-1 (F&A) – Any Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institution. Essential requirements for Skill Test i) Typewriting Test A speed of 30 words per Minute in English typing on PC ii) Computer Proficiency Test Candidates should have passed a Certificate Course of duration of not less than 6 months on MS-Windows Operating System and Desktop Applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), e-mail Management and Internet Surfing. However, Certificate Course will not apply to the candidates who have studied computer science/computer applications as one of the subjects in their school or college curriculum.

12. Steno Grade-1 – Any Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institution. A.1. A speed of 80 words per minute in English Stenography. 2. A speed of 40 words per minute in English typing on PC Preference will be given to those candidates who possess knowledge of Hindi typing/Hindi Stenography  b. Computer Proficiency Test Candidates should have passed a Certificate Course of duration of not less than 6 months on MS-Windows Operating System and Desktop Applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), email Management and Internet Surfing. Salary Details

1. Scientific Assistant/C – (Safety Supervisor) – Rs. 44,900/- (Pay in Pay Matrix in Level – 7) + Allowances as admissible from time to time.

2. Scientific Assistant/B – Diploma Holders in Civil Engineering – Rs. 35,400/- (Pay in Pay Matrix in Level – 6) + Allowances as admissible from time to time.

3. Stipendiary Trainees/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) (Category-I) – Diploma Holders in Engineering – During 1st year of training, stipend of ₹16000/- Per Month During next six months of training, stipend of ₹18000/- Per Month. After suceessful completion of training, the trainees are likely to be considered for appointment to the post of Scientific Assistant/B in the pay of ₹35400/- in level 6 of Revised Pay Structure (Pay Matrix) under CCS (RP) Rules, 2016 and Allowances as admissible from time to time. Additional increment(s), as per extant rules, depending upon performance during training program may also be granted to deserving candidates

Stipendiary Trainees/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) (Category-I) – Science Graduates – During 1st year of training, stipend of ₹16000/- Per Month During next six months of training, stipend of ₹18000/- Per Month. After suceessful completion of training, the trainees are likely to be considered for appointment to the post of Scientific Assistant/B in the pay of ₹35400/- in level 6 of Revised Pay Structure (Pay Matrix) under CCS (RP) Rules, 2016 and Allowances as admissible from time to time. Additional increment(s), as per extant rules, depending upon performance during training program may also be granted to deserving candidate

After suceessful completion of training, the trainees are likely to be considered for appointment to the post of Technician/B in the pay of ₹21700/- in level 3 of Revised Pay Structure (Pay Matrix) under CCS (RP) Rules, 2016 and Allowances as admissible from time to time. Additional increment(s), as per extant rules, depending upon performance during training program may also be granted to deserving candidates.

6. Stipendiary Trainees/Technician (ST/TN) (Category-II) – Maintainer – During 1st year of training, stipend of ₹10500/- Per Month During 2nd year of training, stipend of ₹12500/- Per Month. After suceessful completion of training, the trainees are likely to be considered for appointment to the post of Technician/B in the pay of ₹21700/- in level 3 of Revised Pay Structure (Pay Matrix) under CCS (RP) Rules, 2016 and Allowances as admissible from time to time.
